Admission Requirements
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for admission into any of the programmes offered, a candidate shall fulfill the following requirements:
a. O’level
5 O’ level credits to include English Language, Agriculture or Biology and any other 3 Science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings
b. Postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural Education (PGDAED)
The candidate must be a recognized University with at least a Third Class degree or a minimum of Upper Credit in the Higher National Diploma, HND, in any area of agriculture from a recognized Institution
c. Master’s Degree MSc
i. The candidate must have a first degree in Agricultural Education or related disciplines in different areas of agriculture with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 on a 5 point scale or an average of 70% from a recognized university
ii. A candidate with Higher National Diploma (HND) in different fields of agriculture who have in addition obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural Education with an FCGPA of not less than 3.00 on a 5 point scale or an average of 70% may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied
d. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree
A candidate who holds a master’s degree in Agricultural Education with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 70%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied.
