Admission Requirements

      A.    MASTER’S DEGREE (MSc) PROGRAMME

To be eligible for admission, a candidate must possess any of the following degrees of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, or any other University approved by Senate:

(i)   B.Sc. (with FCGPA of not less than 2.5 on a 5-point scale) in Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Haematology, Molecular Biology

(ii)   MBBS with full registration with MDCN

(iii)  BMLS with full registration with the MLSCN

(iv)  BPharm with full registration with the PCN

Note: The candidate must, in addition to the above requirements, satisfy the matriculation requirements of the Faculty (of Basic Clinical Sciences)

      B.    DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (Ph.D.) PROGRAMME

A candidate for the PhD. degree must hold a Master’s degree (MSc) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University or any other University approved by Senate (with FCGPA not less than 3.5, on a 5-point scale) in the following areas - Immunology, Medical Microbiology, Chemical Pathology, Haematology and Molecular Biology. This is in addition to satisfying the matriculation requirement of the Faculty.
