Admission Requirements
a. O’level
5 O’ level credits to include English Language and any other 4 subjects and at least a pass in maths obtained at not more than two sittings.
b. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
The candidate must be a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University with at least a Third Class degree or a minimum of lower Credit in the Higher National Diploma, HND, from a recognized Institution
c. Master’s Degree (MLIS)
i. The candidate must have a first degree in Library and Information Science with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University
ii. A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Science with an FCGPA of not less than 3.00 may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied
d. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree
A candidate who holds a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied
