Admission Requirements

a.         O’level

5 O’ level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other one subject obtained at not more than two sittings.

b.         Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

The candidate must be a graduate of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or Physics, Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University with at least a Third Class degree or a minimum of  lower  Credit in the Higher National Diploma, HND in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, from a recognized Institution

c.         Master’s Degree (M.Eng)

i.          The candidate must have a first degree in the relevant discipline with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University

ii.         A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with an FCGPA of not less than 3.00 may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied

d.         Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree

A candidate who holds a master’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied
