Admission Requirements
a. O’level
5 O’ level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, physics in not more than two sittings obtained at not more than two sittings.
b. Master’s Degree (MSc)
i. The candidate must have a first degree in Pharmacology, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Parasitology and Entomology, Nursing Science, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University
For unclassified degrees ie Medicine and Surgery, and Pharmacy candidates with 55% or above in undergraduate Pharmacology .
ii. A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacology with an FCGPA of not less than 3.00 may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied
c. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree
A candidate who holds a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied
